Primary responsibilities:
1. Responsible for sourcing and supplying goods and services for China, in accordance with the global/regional/local sourcing strategies and target setting
2. Responsible to develop and manage the country Procurement and Supply Management operations according to the global strategy and target setting
3. Works as a member of a global Procurement and Supply Management team, and cooperates closely with colleagues globally
4. Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of project materials
5. Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain according to the customer project needs
6. Responsible to ensure supplier selection and management according to the defined processes, and have an active role in supplier relationship management
7. Implements required policies, procedures, and control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and manage compliance to the correct purchasing practice
8. Manages country specific Procurement and Supply Management team, and responsible for people management and development
9. Join the company and be part of the top management team of the company
10. Responsible for a team of 12 people in procurement, warehouse and logistic.
Essential functional duties of the position:
1. Ensure the right supplier portfolio to support customer projects, meeting the requirements of sourcing strategies and customers
2. Proactively identify potential supply issues that can affect business strategy
3. Collaborate across the organization to ensure business objectives are meet. Rapidly
synthesize and communicate findings to senior leaders.
