Purpose of Job
■ Ownership of stakeholder relationships and supplier partnerships management.
■ Project management for all GWP products to meet schedules, quality and cost effectiveness according to company standard and policy.
■ Selection of the most appropriate supplier, negotiate costing and timescales for each job and ensure that internal procedures are followed.
■ Manage WIP and production list, to understand at items level of all purchase items.
Responsibility to ensure purchase order is correct and being placed with approved supplier.
Job Responsibilities:
■ Supply Chain Management (40%)
- Handle and maintain the control of all projects in production schedules, quality and cost effectives.
- Assign jobs to suppliers according to established policies, procedures and systems to achieve maximum economic value for dollars expended.
- Coordinate with related departments and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Create or develop packaging instruction taken consideration to reduce damage during transit.
- Develops strong relationships with suppliers and is expert in their capabilities.
- Collecting all necessary documents for compliance audit.
■ Account Management (30%)
- Communicate with stakeholders for RFQ, sample, schedule, quality, engineering, logistic etc.
- Make sure best service was provided to stakeholders so that more opportunities were transited in.
- Provide technical input and advice on projects as required.
- Implements and uses management information systems.
- Manage WIP and P/L report to manager by weekly base.
■ Logistic Management (20%)
- Management of the logistics practice to make sure the goods can be delivered in right time, right quality and right format.
- Paperwork preparation, container ordering etc.
■ Financial Control (10%)
- Ensures most competitive costs are achieved on each project.
- Ensures best practice procedures are followed and documentation complete.
- Meet contracted cost saving targets.
- Identify cost save opportunity.
- Invoice collection and reconciliation.
Personal attributes:
■ 5~8 years of relevant working experience in FMCG indirect material purchasing or supply chain management.
■ Strong interpersonal and communications skills to work with different levels of people both locally and regionally, internally and externally.
■ Solid Microsoft Office PPT and Excel Skills
■ Analytical, pay attention to detail.
■ Organised, effective under pressure and able to consistently deliver.
