To ensure the success of electrified vehicles in China, charging as a mandatory basic function must be ensured. Due to the complexity of China specific charging standards, infrastructure, supply equipment, etc. the implementation and verification of China versions vehicles as well charging equipment rely on the responsibilities of the associate. A broad understanding of electrical energy transfer and Chinese national standards is essential. Further newly developed charging functions and equipment must be adapted for China and implemented in accordance with project timelines. Responsibilities * Responsible for development of external charging devices such as charging wallbox, mode 2 charger, V2L devices, etc. * Responsibility for written and spoken communication with suppliers and report to project steering circle. * Monitoring of timing plan and validation schedules. Interpretation and assessment of development progress and test results from suppliers. Assess and evaluate development steps, take corrective action if necessary. * Market analysis and market screening for local suppliers in China and Asia in cooperation with the purchasing, quality, and logistic departments. * Self-reliant preparation and documentation of reports incl. evaluations and conclusions and recommendations for decision circle and process partners. * Analyzing charging failures generated from charging validation or charging network and processing at quality management tool e.g. ALM. * Closely monitor and work on emerging charging technologies and services, e.g. smart charging, green electricity utilization, ACD, wireless charging solution, V2X i.e. V2G, V2L, V2H, V2V, emergency charging solution, etc. Carry out innovation projects, POC, etc. * Develop business network with relevant local manufacturers and infrastructure suppliers, companies that are active in contributing to charging equipment, network, and standards, based on which, deliver charging infrastructure actual status, trend, and prognosis. China charging infrastructure monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting based on various information resources Qualifications * Engineering degree (master or bachelor with international study) in electrical or automotive engineering or similar. * More than 3 years of R
