POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (PSR):
Lead？？
1.Pro-actively drive the development and establishment of machine specifications based on specifications defined by Regional AME functions.
2.Technical discussions with machine suppliers to support the procurement of manufacturing equipment meeting customer requirements and defined productivity.？
3.Identify cost saving opportunities aligned with company goals and support their implementation.？
4.Initiate and review process improvement activities with manufacturing and product development groups striving for increased productivity and cost savings.？
Collaborate？
1.Work with purchasing on machine procurement ensuring a well-defined RFQ package for vendors to quote on.？
2.Define and standardize competitive manufacturing technologies for core products across product lines together with Product Development and Engineering.？
3.Develop Chinese suppliers for standard equipment modules to support global standard modular processing lines strategy.
4.Work with regional AME functions on equipment sign off, track capital spending and create report outs？
5.Ensure that equipment is built with high level mechanical quality, in terms of welding, mechanical components, drivers, gearboxes and other equipment components.
6.Review equipment documentation, drawings and other relevant information to permit effective regional maintenance and spare parts sourcing.
Support？
1.Guidance and on-site support for new program launches？
2.Participate in BOM reviews and cost reviews supporting the definition of best practice process flow.？
3.Actively supporting Kaizen events with observations and suggestions leading to improved work cell productivity and or other cost saving opportunities.？
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Engineering Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
2.Required 5 years experience as engineer in machine building and automation/robotics industry and familiar with manufacturing process.
3.Fluent English (additional German language skills preferred)
4.Driver’s License and ability to travel.
5.Technical understanding of Controls and ability to operate machinery.
6.Knowledge of European and North American safety standards.
